Scarlet Witch's Doctor Strange 2 Role Will Feel Earned After WandaVision

Scarlet Witch's Doctor Strange feels like Scarlet Olsen has won WandaVision with his involvement in the multiverse of Chaos. Olsen has been a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for many years. During this time Wanda Maximoff became one of the best MCU figures but only showed more interest. Marvel Studios found a way to do so with the first Disney+ MCU broadcast, WandaVision, with Scarlet Witch Star.

WandaVision is almost halfway through the first nine episodes with four episodes announced so far. A lot of the story still needs to be written, but Marvel announced that Wanda is going to be more. In the multiverse of madness, Scarlet Witch is coming back to Doctor Strange. Olsen's next chapter of Wanda's tale is currently being shot in London and is due to hit theaters in early 2022. The fans are still mostly in the dark about the MCU for Scarlet Witch, but Olsen feels that the time WandaVision ends her doctor Strange 2 role.

Olsen has been appearing lately as Scarlet Witch (via Comicbook) on Vanity Fair's Still Watching Podcast and exploring her history, new, and future. She revealed how WandaVision made her enjoy Wanda more, but it also made her more enthusiastic about the character. No specifics of Scarlet Witch's Strange 2 position were revealed by Olsen, but she's inspired to understand that a transition could enough to spin the thoughts of MCU supporters.

It is likely that Olsen just related to some of WandaVision's more famous hypotheses of MCU's future by Scarlet Witch. Fans have long suspected that Wanda might be Doctor Strange 2's villain and that this was the explanation for the multiplicity of folly. The theory of the Scarlet Witch behind the odd events of Westview has just begun to be investigated by WandeVision. The wand may be spiraling, but she has maintained a predominantly content domestic life with Vision so far. WandaVision will set up something before Doctor Strange 2 the Scarlet Witch can transform into a villain.

That said, Scarlet Witch's story being a "new thing" could even point to how WandaVision might retcon aspects of her past. While it remains to be seen how directly WandaVision sets up Scarlet Witch's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness role, Olsen is clearly excited about what lies ahead.
